The following organizations went above and beyond to make generous contributions, making the WSCAE Art Show even more special for our talented student artists. Many thanks to the donations of time, space, and materials from the following individuals and organizations.
Cheney Mansion in Historic Oak Park
Owned and operated by the Park District of Oak Park The 12,000-square-foot mansion is reminiscent of a gracious English country home. The mansion was designed in 1913 by Charles E. White, Jr., a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. This gorgeous space is available for rental and can accommodate special occasions including weddings/receptions, private parties, corporate meetings and events, concerts and recitals, not-for-profit events and fundraisers, and memorial services. Special thanks to Jan Arnald for coordinating the donation of the beautiful space at Cheney Mansion to host the WSCAE Art Show. |
The Oak Park Art League: Art School and Gallery
One of the longest continually operating arts organizations in the Chicago area, the Oak Park Art League fulfills its mission through weekly art classes for adults and children, monthly exhibitions, open studio time, weekly live-model drawing sessions, artist lectures and promotion and sales of artist-made work. The Oak Park Art League is generously orchestrating a live demonstration of artists sketching and sculpting from a model during the May 2 show as well as helping in coordinating professional artist volunteers. |

Crayola
Whether it's providing tools to put a purple octopus on the moon, or enabling teachers to bring arts-infused learning into the classroom, Crayola is passionate about helping parents and educators raise creatively alive children who we believe will grow to be inspired, original adults. Crayola has provided our students with a variety of fun products to try at home. A big thank you to Crayola for their kind donations. |
